Ready, Set, Grundge.

Ready, Set, Grundge.

Ready, Set, Grundge. by chelsy-causing featuring mid finger rings

These combinations are essential when you are going on a brunch with some of your girlfriends! This look gives off a grunge vibe with a touch of class. A midi skirt is perfect for this season! But I have yet to own one! I'm loving Valentino's Rockstud pump, it gives an even more of an edge to the look. These are definitely a must-have! Another must-have is Charlotte Olympia's transparent clutch! Oh, what a beauty! Love the safety pin details! Here are the links for these gorgeous pieces:

Layers of Fun

Hello everyone! Hope you all are well! Okay, so for this outfit.. I literally put this together and took pictures at 3 in the morning, fully knowing that I have to wake up at 8 in the morning.. But I digress. Fall is one my of my favorite season, so layering is always fun to play around with! Pay attention to the details, lovelies! I just love the details on my black/white knit cardigan; pay close attention to the zipper added on to the cardi.. little details like that make me feel so happy when buying clothes! The zipper gives off a more edgy look and not just a typical knit sweater.. it can almost pass as a motto cardigan. Now onto my motto jacket by Calvin Klein.. I absolutely love the material on this jacket and isn't the typical leather jacket you always see, not that there's anything wrong with leather (because I adore anything that's leather), but I always try to buy something trendy but incorporated into something unique. The black deep V shaped(on both sides) is from gap.. and again, I love the material on it, it's different from my other sweaters. All three layers just compliment with each other and they're all very unique! The key to shopping clothes are to find little details that makes it better than you expect on an ordinary cloth. Another key to creative shopping is to play with colors and which color sompliments with which. If you don't like shopping as much, experiment with the clothes in your closet! Happy experimenting :)

Lost in Plaid

Hello everyone! So I did my first photo shoot today for my blog and it was fun and simple! The original plan was to shoot it outside or somewhere in the streets of New York but it was freezing out. Anyways, I wanted to buy Zara's version of the asymmetric skirt but I felt that I should save money and buy a similar one at F21 and they had it in faux leather for a much cheaper price! I have been obsessing with leather simply because it adds edge to my entire outfit. I bought my plaid button down at Marshalls a couple of years ago and I was drawn by its different shades of blue. It also gave in that denim look onto the button down so I figured that it was a must-have! The brand is called "Passport" if you're ever interested in what type of brand it's labeled on and maybe dig deeper with their aesthetic. I threw on a white blazer from H&M to make it look a bit more classy look. I am currently addicted to my cut out booties by Steve Madden and have been wearing them non-stop! I'd love to collect more cut-out boots ;) to complete the look, I accessorized with chain necklace, MK chrono watch and the clutch bag from Banana Republic.
